We have been weeding and digging out the area in front of the water wheel, and another display has been made and put in the wagon.

We investigated the sunken barge in the river near the maltings and retrieved some parts of it.

We saw a Swallow caught on discarded fishing line caught in trees along the river bank so we went into the river and rescued it. John managed to get the hook out of its mouth and it flew away with no signs of injury. If we had not been around it would have suffered a slow death due to abandoned fishing tackle.

A camera trap was put up to capture wildlife, we got pictures of a rabbit or hare but mainly us working.
Finds include large glass jar fragments, a small iron flange, and a very large metal plate was uncovered near the blacksmith area.
